Lux Aestiva is not another beauty brand, it’s quite the opposite actually.

After spending years in the beauty industry feeling like I was selling my soul, paired with the sudden loss of my amazing mother Jude, while going through IVF, my whole life came crashing down. My heart and my body were broken. It was at this point that I distinctly remember walking into my big, beautiful home and saying to myself ‘nothing in this house makes me happy’ and from that day on I started to redesign my life while my heart and body slowly started to heal. We sold everything. We worked less, lived more and valued quality over quantity which is everything I wanted Lux Aestiva to embody.

While going through my fertility treatment I really gravitated towards natural remedies. I needed to have control over exactly what went into and onto my body which is why when you look at any of our product ingredients, you will only ever find names you recognise. You can be at ease knowing nothing we produce contains parabens, sulphates, mineral oils, or synthetic colours, fragrances or preservatives. All our products are hand poured here on the Sunny Coast, Queensland, in small batches using only the finest raw ingredients sourced right here in Australia.

For years I wanted to tell my clients that perfect skin does not come in a jar, it comes from your health and lifestyle choices. Yes, good products do help but it’s so much more then something you can buy off a shelf. I don’t want to sell beauty products anymore. I want to sell you more, something that will invigorate your senses and remind you to just take a minute, take a deep breath, feel something nice on your skin and just escape reality for a few moments a day if that’s all you have. The world is a crazy place and being able to take yourself out of it for even just a moment to reset and reconnect is what I want to do for you.

Lux Aestiva feeds my soul and I hope our creations help you feed yours

Sending so much love,

Bec x

Like most, when our first baby arrived, our whole perception of the world changes instantly. We wanted to give him the world, but an even better one then the one we live in now which is where our passion for sustainability was born.

Sustainability is at the forefront of every decision we make as a business. We recognise that the best way to make a real change is through consistent, small scale collective efforts which span across every aspect of our business.

We are always looking for ways to ensure we leave our world better than it is today so this is why we choose glass bottles for all our products to reduce the use of single use plastic. Our ingredients are all sourced from Australian certified industry leaders in bulk to reduce our carbon omission. We hand make all our products in small batched to reduce waste. Our product and shipping packaging is almost completely recyclable. We are currently working on an eco-refill option for our entire collection to reuse, refill and cut down and shipping

We look forward to the day when we don’t celebrate sustainability and it is just something we all take responsibility for living in this beautiful world of ours.
